More about me (tagged by Kelly)

The immensely talented local photographer Kelly Munce (watch this space, more about her later) tagged me recently on her blog

http://kellymuncephotography.blogspot.com

The rules are I have to say six quirky things about myself, then tag 6 others, and leave a comment on their blog to let them know they've been "tag'd"

Righty oh here we go.

1. I collect Japanese geisha dolls.

2. I can't walk by an open book or magazine store without going inside.

3. I'm Australia's biggest fan of Captain Scarlet (the original episodes)

4. I'm Australia's biggest fan of Shintaro the Samurai (hence the dolls I suppose)

5. I have 11 mirrors (including 2 very big ones) in my small 3 bedroom home but I tend to avoid looking into them unless I really have to.

6. I am scared of the deep. (water)

OK I usually don't like these type of chain things but this grabbed my attention and it seemed that I'd look like a bad sport if I didn't play. I hope I don't piss off the tagees listed below. At worst I guess this is a way of adding another link to their pages I guess.

They are, in no particular order..........

Dave Rudin www.figuresofgrace.blogspot.com

Iris Dassault http://irisdassault.blogspot.com

Sorry these links aren't direct, blogger won't allow it for some reason.

Enough about me, I'll talk about more interesting stuff next time I promise.

Oh all right! I'll do it (grumble, grumble) Lela did it twice, so she's shamed me into it :-)

Thanks for the listing, Mark. In response, I will just say that I have a collection of Japanese kokeshi dolls (all purchased in Japan - you should go if you haven't been there yet) and watched Captain Scarlett (and, of course, the Thunderbirds) when I was a kid. I'd like to see them again.

Well even though you hated it (so did I) you got through it and did so well, after reading yours I felt boring. Dave.....Captain Scarlet DVDs are out there and worth the effort to track down. Kelly, that's one I owe you (said with a raised eyebrow and sinister lilt) lol
